Here we will discuss how to sign in and begin tracking your time in Webvantage.
In your browser, you’ll navigate to https://www.advantagehosted.com/webvantage/SignIn.aspx
Sign in using the agency’s database: RGCHN. You’ll use your User ID and Password provided to you. Click sign in.
Once you’re signed in you’ll see your Desktop. If you have any assignments, they’ll show up here.
You can also quickly get to your alerts by clicking on the circle with the exclamation point inside it (top of screen). These are things like new jobs that have been opened.
If you have any appointments in the system or to view your calendar, click on the calendar icon (top of screen).
If you’ve bookmarked anything, click on the bookmarks icon (top of screen). These are things that you may want to get to quickly upon signing in, like job schedules.
Now, to get to your timesheet quickly click on the clock icon (top of screen). This will show you the hours that you’ve logged today, this week, where you are in relation to your goal, and by type (client or indirect). You can click on either today or this week to view your hours. If you click on “Hours This Week” your screen will look like this.
When starting with a blank timesheet or entering time on a job you haven’t entered time for yet this week, click on the green plus sign button.
Add Time Screen
Fill out Client, Division (this should auto-populate), Job, Assignment (if there is one assigned to you), Date, Function, Comments, and Hours.
Client – either start typing or use the drop-down to select the client.
Division – this should auto-populate when you choose the client.
Job – use the drop-down or type in (job number, job title, etc).
Assignment – if there is an assignment associated with you, you can select that.
Date – choose the date.
Function – choose your function for the time used.
Comments – provide detail on what you spent this time doing. (NOTE: These comments are submitted to clients when billing, don’t write anything in here you don’t want the client to see)
Hours – type in the number of hours, either whole numbers or decimals (i.e. .25, .5, .75)
Click Save
NOTE: If you’re adding time to something you’ve already worked on, double click into an open square on the timesheet, it will autofill the Job information for you. You simply add your time and comments.
